Bhubaneswar: On Friday morning, a technical issue in an elevator caused a distressing experience for six tourists and one lift operator at Dhauli Peace Pagoda, located on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The elevator suddenly stopped midway, trapping the occupants inside for over 45 minutes.
Quickly responding to the situation, police personnel and nearby shopkeepers came to the rescue of the trapped individuals. Fortunately, all seven persons were safely rescued and taken to Capital Hospital for a medical check-up.
The incident has caused concern among visitors to Dhauli Peace Pagoda, a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and spiritual significance.
